hi people, so ive been trying to load thesetwo drawings for ya but it just keeps circling and nada happens. i give up for now but im gonna try from a diffeeent computer tomorrow

Wednsdays woman returns !!

Happy New Year everyone!!! I took a lil break so I could finish illustrating another children's book, start another and continue another project. Hope you're all ready to make 2014 awesome, I got quite a few ideas for personal work hoping it all works out.
Anywho, a drawing to start the new year classy, and a few work in progress drawings that I didn't get to finish before the holidays got here.

just sharing another work in progress. i used to draw mermaids all the time. after a mermaid dry spell over the year mermaids have began reappearing in my sketchbook.

Woo hoo ...right before midnight lol. Just a lil Halloween doodle of my favorite witches from "Hocus Pocus". Not as pushed as I'd like but one of the next children's book I'm illustrating is due fri( more details soon :D ) and after I gotta lot of doodles I want /need to bring to final. Anywho...Happy Halloween everybody ...I'll be waiting for the great pumpkin at my desk :)

Lol...I was excited that I remembered to get this in before midnight. Then I earlier its actually thrs. Anywho, while doing my work I was watching my favorite batman movie, "batman returns". I love Catwoman in this movie, she's kinda crazy but hey we all are lol. The final sequence where she gets her revenge on scary Christopher Walkin inspired these sketches. Though I'm a little divided on which one to bring to final hmmmmmm???

Wednesdays woman

Hi people...made it again just under the wire :) today is just gonna be another work in progress. Which I think all post will be until I finish a couple jobs which are due at the end of  this month. Anywho, since October is breast cancer awareness month I wanted to draw something to show my support. A few strong woman in my life had to battle breast cancer and beat it. And I know many more are doing the same. These woman show a lot of strength to under go treatment, the physical and mental battle is hard. I just wanted to draw something to show how fierce I think you woman are who battled or are battling breast cancer now. Much love.

It's before midnight just barely made it just another work in progress. Pretty happy with it I don't think I plan on doing a whole lot more to it. I think it captures the farewell mood to summer. Don't go summer I love you :)

For those who saw last weeks post I mentioned Wednesdays woman would be back this wed. Well, I think wed. Are coming earlier every week. Though I'm grateful to say I'm loosing track of days from being busy with more freelance:) so though its a few days late here are just a few roughs of things to come. Have a great weekend people :)

hi everyone :) i know its been awhile sine the last post but assoon as i got back from vacation ive been busy catchin up with my freelance work. Buuuut "The Little Mermaid" is back in theaters today, not excited about seeing it in 3D but VERY excited to see it on a big screen again !!!!!! I was obbsessed with this movie when i first saw it waaaaay back when i was 7 yrs old and still one of my favorite Disney movies. I remember wanting so much to just be in the movie hahahaha and just swim along with everyone else. So thats what i decided to draw this week   :)

When Ariel sang ,"part of your world" I got lost in her grotto i just wanted to explore everything in there.

And after that huge wave crashed behind her i attempted to create the same thing when ever i got out of the pool.

 

 

 I remember clearly when Ariel argued she was 16, and could basically do what she wants, my seven yr old mind thought " yeah 16 is old let her do what she wants!"

this last drawing is just a work in progress of one of my favorite scenes when Ariel gets her voice taken. Hope to have it watercolored in the next week.

Well thanks for reading about how much of a nerd i am for "The little mermaid. ooooh just wait and see what i do if they ever decide to re release aladdin in theaters. :D And Wednsdays Woman will be back this coming wed.
